The Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (BfDI), Prof. Ulrich Kelber, will attend the “Global Privacy Summit”. This event staged by the “International Association of Privacy Professionals” (IAPP), a US data protection organisation in Washington DC, is the largest conference on data protection in the United States. The Federal Commissioner will be particularly involved in discussions on pioneering future technologies and on conditions for the worldwide secure transfer of personal data. In addition, he will hold bilateral talks with American and other international partners.
