45th Global Privacy Assembly (GPA)

The Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (BfDI), Prof. Ulrich Kelber, attends the 45th annual meeting of the GPA, an association of more than 130 data protection supervisory authorities from all over the world, and contributes his expertise. In addition to a closed session for GPA members, there are open sessions for interested participants from the areas of science, business, governments, etc. The event highlights the challenges of data protection arising from the ever-faster wave movement of new technologies of communication and data processing.
